The water cycle

The water cycle

Everything needs water to survive.  But if you don’t drink water, you might die of thirst. Always drink water.

Evaporation
Heat from the sun evaporates water from the ground.  This invisible water vapour rises into the air and makes rain clouds.

Condensation
Condensation is when the water evaporates to the sky and forms rain clouds.  The rain clouds are real, fresh water.  The water vapours joins together and makes rain clouds.

Precipitation
The droplets join together.  Gravity then cause the water to fall straight back to the earth.  They then forms clouds which then starts to make rain, hail, snow and sleet.

The water cycle is important to all living things.  Never waste water – it’s a crime.
